What the question summaries mean

The exam list shows public metadata such as the exam name, question count, duration, and passing threshold when those values are configured. These summaries help you choose an appropriate practice session without exposing protected question content or answer data.

The domain list shows the public certification areas and their configured question counts. Use it as a study map: review the domains where you are least confident, then return to a timed session to check whether your accuracy and pacing have improved.

Practice exam FAQ

How many questions are included?

The configured question count is shown in the exam summaries above. Free and Premium scopes may contain different exams, so the count depends on the shortcode used on the page.

Can I practice by domain?

Yes, when domain data is configured for the certification. Select one or more domains in the Domain Practice option to focus the session on a specific area.

Are the practice exams timed?

The available duration is shown in each public exam summary. Full-Length Exam Mode is intended for timed practice, while Practice Mode can be used for a slower study session when the selected configuration supports it.

Are detailed explanations provided?

When explanations are configured for an exam, they are available through the existing review and results experience after an attempt. The server-rendered page does not expose protected explanation text.

Does CloudExamPro use real AWS exam questions?

The practice engine presents preparation content configured by the site owner. It does not expose protected question data in the initial page source, and access to an exam session continues to be enforced on the server.

What should I do after an attempt?

Review your result and domain feedback, identify the topics that need work, and use another focused or timed attempt to measure progress. Repeating an exam is most useful when it is paired with targeted review.

What the AIF-C01 exam covers

The AWS Certified AI Practitioner exam checks whether you understand AI, machine learning, and generative AI at a business and conceptual level. You won't build or train anything. You will need to know what the main AWS AI services do, which technique fits which problem, and how to use AI responsibly and securely. AWS splits the scored questions across five domains:

28%

Applications of Foundation Models

The biggest slice. Prompt engineering, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), fine-tuning, choosing a foundation model, and how to evaluate its output.

24%

Fundamentals of Generative AI

Tokens, embeddings, and transformers, what foundation models and LLMs are, common use cases, and where Amazon Bedrock, PartyRock, and Amazon Q fit.

20%

Fundamentals of AI and ML

Supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning, the ML lifecycle, common metrics, and AWS AI services like Rekognition, Comprehend, Textract, Transcribe, and SageMaker.

14%

Guidelines for Responsible AI

Bias, fairness, transparency, and explainability, plus tools like SageMaker Clarify, Model Cards, Guardrails for Amazon Bedrock, and Amazon Augmented AI.

14%

Security, Compliance, and Governance

Securing AI systems with IAM and encryption, the shared responsibility model, data governance, and compliance resources such as AWS Artifact.

Our 25-question set follows those proportions, so a weak result in one area points you to a real gap and not a quirk of the sample.

How to use this practice exam

1

Sit it like the real thing

Close other tabs, leave your notes alone, and let the timer run. Most people miss questions they actually know because they rushed the wording, and you can only see that habit under a clock.

2

Read every explanation

Not just the wrong ones. If you guessed and got it right, treat it as wrong. Then write down the service names and AI terms that tripped you up and look them up in the AWS documentation. A week of doing that does more than taking the same test five times.

3

Book it when you hit 80%

Once you can score 80 percent or better on a fresh set, you're in good shape to book the exam. AWS charges $100 USD for the AIF-C01, and a retake means paying again, so it's worth being sure first.

How to Master AIF-C01 Exam Questions: The Ultimate 5-Step Strategy

We've coached students through AWS certifications for years, and the AI Practitioner exam trips people up in the same few ways. It's rarely a lack of effort. It's usually a lack of method. This is the game plan we recommend to every student before they start working through practice exams.

28%of scored questions come from the biggest domain, Applications of Foundation Models
5exam domains, from AI and ML basics to security and governance
65questions on the real exam, 50 of them scored
1

Match the task to the service

Plenty of questions describe one job in a sentence. Circle the verb: extract text from scanned forms, detect objects in images, analyze sentiment, convert speech to text, build a chatbot, translate. Each job maps to one pre-built service (Textract, Rekognition, Comprehend, Transcribe, Lex, Translate), and the wrong options are usually its neighbors. When the sentence says generative AI with foundation models, think Amazon Bedrock. When it says build, train, and deploy your own model, think SageMaker.

2

Pick the lightest technique that works

Prompt engineering is the cheapest and fastest. RAG adds your own up-to-date data without changing the model. Fine-tuning teaches a model a specific style or task, and training from scratch is rarely the answer. Ask what the model is missing: better instructions, fresh knowledge, or new behavior.

3

Pair each responsible-AI idea with its tool

Bias and explainability point to SageMaker Clarify. Human review of low-confidence predictions points to Amazon Augmented AI. Blocking harmful or off-topic output points to Guardrails for Amazon Bedrock. Documenting a model points to Model Cards. It's a smaller domain, but once you've made these pairs the questions are easy points.

4

Know the dials and the scorecards

Temperature and top-p control how random the output is, and tokens are how input and output are counted. Accuracy, precision, and recall judge classifiers, while ROUGE and BLEU judge generated text. Overfitting means a model does well on its training data and poorly on new data.

5

Keep the security basics in the picture

AI questions still lean on familiar ideas: IAM for least privilege, KMS for encryption, Macie for finding sensitive data, and AWS Artifact for compliance reports. Ask whether the task is security of the cloud (AWS) or security in the cloud (you). That one question sorts most of the options.

Pro tip: Many questions are short scenarios. Underline the requirement words before you look at the options, such as "lowest effort," "private company data," or "no custom model." They're what separates the right answer from the plausible one.

Common mistakes on the AI Practitioner exam

Building when you can buy. If a question describes extracting text from scanned forms or detecting faces in photos, the answer is a pre-built service like Textract or Rekognition, not a custom model trained from scratch.

Mixing up Bedrock and SageMaker. Bedrock gives you ready-to-use foundation models through an API. SageMaker is for building, training, and deploying your own ML models.

Fine-tuning when RAG will do. If the model just needs access to your current documents, retrieval is usually the simpler and cheaper answer. Fine-tuning is for changing how the model behaves.

Skipping responsible AI. Fairness, transparency, explainability, and guardrails are easy to wave off as soft topics, but they make up a full domain and the questions are very learnable.

AIF-C01 practice exam FAQ

Is this AIF-C01 practice exam really free?

Yes. You don't need to sign up or enter a card. Start it, finish it, and see your score and explanations right away.

How many questions are on the real AIF-C01 exam?

The real exam has 65 questions and a 90-minute limit. Fifteen of them are unscored, but you won't know which, so treat each one as if it counts. The passing score is 700 on a scale of 100 to 1,000.

Is the AWS AI Practitioner exam hard?

It's a foundational certification, but it's not a giveaway. People with no AI or cloud background usually need four to six weeks of steady study. If you already work with AI tools or AWS, a couple of weeks may be enough.

What score should I get before I book the exam?

Aim for 80 percent or higher on a few different practice sets. That cushion covers the nerves and the odd question you haven't seen before.

Are these the actual exam questions?

No. They're original questions written to cover the same topics and use the same style. Anyone offering real exam questions is breaking AWS's candidate agreement, and we don't do that.

How long is the AIF-C01 certification valid?

Three years. After that you can recertify by passing the current exam again.
